Raw Milk

We milk once a day from May through December.  The yields vary quite a bit depending on how much calves are drinking and pasture conditions.  When we have “extra” milk, we sell it raw. Our herd is made up of Milking Shorthorns and Jersey/Shorthorn crosses, is strictly grass-fed and certified organic.

Customers must

  • sign up for a regular pick-up day,
  • take a farm tour,
  • leave their contact information on file,
  • purchase a one-gallon stainless steel tote, and
  • pay in advance ($8/gallon)

Rural Vermont
is a non-profit organization that helped make it legal to sell more than six gallons of raw milk per day.  They have published guides for raw milk producers and customers.
The Weston A. Price Foundation runs A Campaign for Real Milk.
Eat Wild has a database of grass-fed products.
