We milk once a day from June through December. The yields vary quite a bit depending on how much calves are drinking and pasture conditions. When we have “extra” milk, we sell it raw.
Customers must
- sign up for a regular pick-up day,
- take a farm tour,
- leave their contact information on file,
- purchase a one-gallon stainless steel tote, and
- pay in advance ($8/gallon)
Rural Vermont is a non-profit organization that helped make it legal to sell more than six gallons of raw milk per day. They have published guides for raw milk producers and customers.
